All of the stamps were issued in purple. The 1¢, 3¢, 12¢ and 90¢ stamps range in color from purple to dark purple. The 2¢ and 6¢ stamps
range from light purple to purple. The 3¢, 6¢, and 10¢ stamps are found in a bluish purple as well.
The 3¢ and 6¢ Justice Official stamps were also issued in 1879 by the American Bank Note Company on soft porous paper.
