A single stamp is all that is needed to distinguish the Farley Special Printing of this stamp, if it is imperforate it is the Special Printing. Any difference in shade is incidental.

* The 2¢ Grand Canyon National Park Special Printing, Scott 757, was issued without gum. Some of these sheets were gummed in 1940 when provision was made to add gum to the Farley sheets if the owner wished it. According to Sloane the sheets were to be returned to the Post Office Department who would pass the sheets on to the Bureau for gumming. Only the National Parks sheets, Scott's 756-765, and the National Park Souvenir sheets, Scott's 769 and 770 were to have gum added.

This Farley sheet was issued as a sheet of 200 stamps, printed by the flat plate method, with four panes of 50 separated by guide lines. In the very center of the sheet the horizontal and vertical guide lines crossed, creating collectible pairs with guide line between, as well as a center-line block. The margins of the sheets had arrows at the end of the guide lines, creating collectible arrow blocks.
