As can be seen in the images above, it is impossible to
distinguish the Farley reprint from the regularly issued
commemorative from a single stamp, unless the stamp has a
wide margin, about 16 mm. The distance between the stamps in
the pair shown is of course 16 mm. Any difference in
shade is incidental.
Scott 768 was issued as a sheet of 150 stamps,
printed by the flat plate method, with 25 panes of 6 stamps separated by
16 mm gutters. This Souvenir Sheet is
most appropriately collected as a pane of 6 stamps, as
shown below. It can not be determined if the illustrated
sheet is the original or the Farley reprint, since there is
no 16 mm wide margin. Therefore, the following sheet must be
assumed to be Scott 735 and not Scott 768.
