As can be seen in the images above, it is impossible to
distinguish the Farley reprint from the regularly issued
commemorative from a single stamp, unless the stamp has a
wide margin, about 23 mm. The distance between the stamps in
the Farley pair shown is of course 23 mm. Any difference in
shade is incidental.
Scott 769 was issued as a sheet of 120 stamps,
printed by the flat plate method, with 20 panes of 6 stamps separated by
23 mm gutters. This Souvenir Sheet is
most appropriately collected as a pane of 6 stamps, as
shown below. It can not be determined if the illustrated
sheet is the original or the Farley reprint, since there is
no 23 mm wide margin. Therefore, the following sheet must be
assumed to be Scott 751 and not Scott 769.
